SERIES OF GPSMAP® PLUS CHARTPLOTTERS
Advanced navigation in its best version. Multifunctional devices within this series have 7”, 9” and 12” touchscreens and are compatible with other Garmin gear
on your boat. Due to an integrated system you are always in control while steering. Versions marked with xs work with a traditional 1kW CHIRP sonar and with
the ClearVü wide angle Panoptix™ sonar, including the Panoptix LiveScope™ System. GPSMAP 1222 xsv Plus has been additionally fitted with a SideVü scanning
sonar. All versions of the device have preloaded basic map of the world and are compatible with BlueChart g3 maps and g3 Vision with an AutoGuidance function,
along with Garmin and Navionics® data. Thanks to Garmin Marine Network system you can share maps, data, radar screen and IP cameras videos across many
devices. Application of communication protocols NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183 allow to connect the plotter to the autopilot, digital central unit, to download
the weather data, to display multimedia and to use the VHF radio, to identify other units on AIS and to use other sensors. Additionally, the device uses the ANT®
technology, allowing to connect to compatible Garmin devices such as sailing and water sports watches, remote controls and many more. The gear has also
been fitted with, very handy during regatta, Garmin SailAssist™ function that helps to plot the layline, calculate drift, display wind data and other parameters
indispensable for track planning. All models are additionally fitted with a Wi-Fi module allowing integration with a free ActiveCaptain® app and OneChart™
platform where you can purchase and download new maps and display notifications, update software, use Garmin QuickDraw™ data and much more.
