Set-contents: Halibut-Float including high quality, 400g
adjustable Release-Clip System and Snap 300g MOUNTING
Usage Tip “by Torsten Ahrens”: EXAMPLE
• The large fish Halibut Float should always
be used in combination with the DEGA Sea-
Trolling-System or with the Deadbait Halibut-Rig.
• Adjust the Clip securely so that it releases
when fully engaged.
• When fishing place the Float
approximately 20-30 meters from the boat.
• If possible, the line should not touch the water
between the rod-tip and the Release Clip.
• When the fish bites, retrieve line that
is extending to the Release-Clip.
• The objective is to maintain a tight line
ready to land the fish.
• This Float-rig can also be fished as a “dead rod”.
Extra Tip: In order to weight the float for desired
use, a pear-shaped sinker of 50/100/150g
may be snapped on to the other end of the float.
