Today, there is an increasing tendency in the market to cast with braided line, to
make very long casts and to have more and more sensitivity in the touch. Normally
we would have to splash out and buy two rods, one with a solid tip for fishing with

                                                                                                When you should use braided?
                                                            1. When we want to gain metres in the cast whenever the prey is at considerable distances. For
sure, you could reduce the diameter of the nylon, but that would mean a drastic reduction
of the line breaking strength. However, with the braided line, we can go down to diameters
close to 0.060mm and still have high breaking strengths.
                                                         2. Or when we want to have a lot more sensitivity on the line, as opposed to nylon which, being
elastic, pretty much acts as shock absorber and sometimes affects the reaction of the line.
                                                        3. In addition, when we are faced with a sustained current, and it is also necessary to cast leads
over 200gr, perhaps combined with wedges of sizeable bait, in this case the tubular tip can
                                                                                               provide us with greater reliability.

                                                                                             SENSITIVE TIP-BRAIDED
∙ In both the first and second case, if we used the Sensitive Tip with braided line, which has no stretch,
we would have many vibrations on the tip, with the risk of creating those braids on the head and on the
end eye that would make us lose lead, fishing line and everything else. So, all this can be avoided by using
the tubular tip to have a stiffer head and, therefore, fewer vibrations.
∙ In the third case, when we talk about strong currents, if we used the solid tip, therefore very sensitive, we
would find ourselves with the tip always bent in tension. Whereas with the tubular tip it is actually the best
option when faced with typical sea conditions with currents that are even stronger than swollen rivers.
